Cancellation Policy

BodySpa Cancellation Policy & Procedures NOTICE: Due to the number of clients /patients cancelling their massage appointments with less than a 24 hour notice, we are now going to collect payment for massages up front when appointments are made. Payment for services can be made over the phone, on our website or in office after the completion of your most current appointment (during checkout). Massage appointments will not be held without payment starting 11/01/2024.  We appreciate all of our clients/ patients and look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.  By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of Bodyspa, body and skin therapy’s policies. We allow canceling or rescheduling of an appointment IF notice is received within business hours (8am-5pm) at least 48 hrs (2 days) prior to the initially scheduled time. If an appointment is broken, missed, cancelled, “no show”, etc. then PIF will be required 1) for the missed time 2) prior to scheduling clients next appointment. Kindly remember, at BodySpa, body and skin, LLC. your appointment with us is coordinated around your schedule and the time you have agreed to reserve with us. We do require that you give us sufficient notice if you need to cancel, re-arrange, reschedule, or move your appointment(s). You WILL BE charged (the cost of treatment) for no shows and cancellations. Any requests to reschedule that are made same day or after business hours the day prior, will still incur our cancellation fee regardless of reason. Appointment changes: Since time (Room setup) and consideration (room prep, file review, etc.) are taken by our staff 24hrs prior to your scheduled time, your request to alter or change existing appointment(s) may incur a fee if 1. the existing appointment time is significantly different than the requested (change to) time or 2) the existing appointment service fee is significantly different than the requested (change to) service fee. Please note, this does not mean you will be charged additionally for requesting to change from a standard facial service to a massage. These treatments are considered comparable in length of service and fee amount and can simply be requested/ granted by management. Gift Certificates, PrePaid services, Packages, or Treatment Series: If a client is documented as “No Call”, No show, or Late (15mins +) then he or she may be in jeopardy of forfeiting the cost of their prepaid service. As a courtesy and not an obligation, we (BodySpa staff) may make one attempt to reach out to the client or to leave a message via phone, text, or e-mail and allow the recipient 2hrs. to respond. If granted a second appointment and the client does not show up to their appointment a second time then the prepaid service will be considered void/ “Redeemed” and no service will be owed by BodySpa, body and skin, LLC. It is up to management discretion if the client will be allowed to reschedule this or any future services. This means If an appointment is scheduled and missed due to No call, No show or Broken appointment standards (see above) then the Gift Certificate and Packages will be deducted/ documented as REDEEMED for the wasted time and no future appointment to redeem the service(s) can be made. Appts. Cancelled without sufficient notice, Missed, No call/No show, and Broken appointment(s) : We respect your privacy. As a professional organization, we do not require you to tell us your personal and private business to cancel however, we must implement a solid cancellation policy. You will still incur our cancellation fee regardless of reason if: 1. You repeatedly move, change, cancel or alter an appointment 48hrs. prior to your scheduled time. For example: cancellations x2 or more consecutive times within a 6 months period or 4x total within a 12 months period (but may not be “consecutive”). Thank you for respecting our policies and procedure. We reserve the right to require pre-payment of service(s) before booking to any individual(s).
